I feel like every time I want to get something done, I'm very limited to what I can do. I've been trying to work on this animation for I think a year now and it's not really going anywhere. I've had little experience animating and it's been really tough trying to develop the story and all the character design and stuff. I've been trying to make my own characters but they always look anime-ish and I just want to develop my own style. I've been trying to learn some anatomy so I can get proportions right but I still want my characters to look cartoonish. It seems like every time I try to look up anything cartoon related on google, it comes up as some form of anime/manga and I like that style don't get me wrong but, everybody uses it and I'm kind of getting sick of it.
